whoever is reading this... i encourage you to buy these earphones. i live in Mauritius and had them brought over to me all the way from the UK, and i'm so glad i went for it! i can feel they've been lovingly designed and made by people who love sound. so do i! the sound is excellent, the design beautiful and practical, and the price very good for such quality. they make my walks and daily commute so much more meaningful, with my music and podcasts shining with clarity through to my ears along the journey. the one thing i need to mention is, on my laptop at least, the volume is pretty low, with the maximum being just under what i would prefer. but works like a bomb on my phone. all the best.

Best earphones that I have ever owned. Although I have never owned the Flare E-Prototype.......

I am satisfied with Jet Earphones especially in relation to the price-performance ratio. The sound is clean, clear, well spatialised. I use a lot of soundfield recording with binaural microphones and the spatial restitution is very good.
When listening to music, the bass is sometimes too present and I prefer to equalise by lowering the level below 100Hz (or not inserting the earphones deep).
