MEET THE TALENT FOR 2024
Flare are proud to sponsor and support this years Inside Track - a year-long, fully funded music mentoring and development programme set up by Ivor Novello award-winning artist, Cassell the Beatmaker.
Inside Track supports emerging talent who are facing significant barriers to accessing the music industry. The programme provides development time in the studio, mentoring, career support, advice and studio time to discover their musical sound and style, it gives them the opportunity to work with other successful musicians and writers and is a unique launchpad for a career in music. Meet Aisha
I’m Aisha Kigs and I'm a singer songwriter from Cardiff, Wales. If I could describe my sound I would describe it as Pop, R&B, Afro-Pop, a little bit of rock and roll. I like pushing the envelope, I like creating a world. In the next 2 years I see myself performing in big festivals, maybe working towards an album - I would love to do that.
I think it's really good to have champions in the music industry that push artists in a way that's genuine, authentic, I really sensed that when I came to the Showcase. I've always been resilient, and I think this is the right time and I feel like it's the right time, I think it's a better time I'm in Inside Track.
I want to come up towards the first steps of becoming a household name that's my biggest dream.

CassellBeats: My name is CassellBeats I'm a music producer. I work with all different genres and different artists.
KBeats: My name’s KBeats and I'm a music producer.
CassellBeats: I've worked with artists like Lil Tecca, Chunkz, Digga D, LA RUE.
KBeats: I’ve worked with artists like Swarmz, Ghostface, MIST, HAZEY.
Cassell Beats: I describe it as a dynamic duo so it's just like the thing just clicked. What I know about ITM is that it gives artists opportunity to first of all develop their sound, the opportunity to really have the industry experience of songwriters, engineers, producers - and gives you the full experience of what music is meant to be.
What we tend to do with artists is we start to figure out who they are, for every artist you work with you start creating your own sound and moulding it so I guess your own unique sound. I think to make sure your quality is up to the standard where you can actually say I am I'm good at this, I can go far.
K Beats: Be yourself - there's a lot of artists now just copying other artists and not being the original, so I just say be yourself.

My name is Isaac Stunner I'm a 22 year old rapper from East London.
I’ve been rapping for about the last 8 years. I see myself as someone who's ambitious but my main goal is to just have a fan base that's like ride or die for me.
Honestly I thought this was a massive opportunity for me, artist development is something that I haven't had a chance to really involve myself in so when I first heard about the program I was like this is something that I have to take and something that I have to be serious about and actually pursue. This could help me develop into the artist I want to be, the artist I've always like envisioned myself to be.
I know that Cass is an amazing producer, an amazing drummer, he's done stuff with The Streets and he's a great artist.

Music is something I've done from a young age, I've definitely been influenced by my parents - artists that they listen to has been something I've been interested in. Recently I've been doing backing vocals for Raye.
I want my music to be heard in West Africa - I'm half Lithuanian half Cameroonian, there's space for afro beats in Eastern Europe, I want to bring afro beats to Europe and Eastern European countries that don't really listen to afro beats - being mixed race myself.
I was actually excited, I was shocked, I didn't expect it, I’m very happy and excited.

It’s super cool to be involved (in ITM) now I’m just excited to get going and see what happens you know.
I think I'm a sucker for a great lyricist I think that's the primary thing. From a young age I was exposed to everything, from there I just kind of mashed it all together and went yeah sweet let's write some songs!
I'm talkative, a bit crazy, a big child, a big football fan, I think I'm quite a caring individual. I would ultimately be incredibly happy just to play to small amounts of people for the rest of my life and share my stories and have this group of people that relate to what I say even - if it's like just one line in one song. If I play a show and someone goes ‘I really like what you did there’, I’ve come and I've done my job and I've shared my stories and it's resonated with a person. So if I do that I'm happy.

I just love to perform, start growing a little family of fans and followers who like my music and whether it's in the O2 or in a little bar in Hackney I don't mind as long as I can feel that connection there.
