Unlock the future of sound.

Sound shapes our world - it connects us, sparks memories, and fuels our emotions. But hidden within it is distortion, a daily disruptor that impacts clarity, triggers stress, and affects our well-being.

But what is distortion and what does it mean for us and how we hear? For years, devices like speakers and mobile phones have tried to remove distortion but we discovered the real issue was elsewhere - our ears. Like a bell, they resonate and alter how we hear sound. This is a survival mechanism that once kept us alert to threat but now muddles the detail in sound.

Definition changes everything. By reducing our ear distortion, Definition unlocks breathtaking detail in your favourite music, turning even the simplest headphones into a high-fidelity experience. Definition enhances the clarity of conversations (especially in busy places) and improves sound clarity wherever you go. Definition transforms concerts into giant Hi-Fi experiences, enhances everyday listening, and even creates a calming effect, shielding you from the negative impact of distortion.

Welcome to the future of sound.

Product worked OK but not a good replacement for my hearing aids.

So far so good

Only had them a few days but think they help. My problem is a small amount of hearing loss overlaid by loud tinnitus

Not what I was expecting

I've edited my original review as I was describing these wrong due to me not having the right word for what I was experiencing.
I've been using flare audio products for a long time now and love the calmer range with the Calmer 2 prototype being my favourite so far for comfort, and was sad to see these leave the shop so quick, but then got very excited when I read about the definition because for me although they aren't in the Calmer category, they read perfect for my needs so purchased a pair straight away. I've been trying them for a few days now in noisy environments like hospitals where I have a hard time hearing what people are saying to me. Yes they're very comfortable, yes they block a lot of background noise out while allowing you to hear what's close by nice and clear. However, I'm getting the occlusion effect, but only with certain frequencies at certain volumes. I've tried everything suggested from the flare audio crew who was indeed very helpful in suggesting different tips and fitting instructions but for my ear canal shape etc this is still happening for me. I'm giving the product 4 stars for the build quality, design, comfort and overall appearance, they are low profile and quite discreet. But taking a star off for this issue I'm personally having. (Not everyone will have this issue as we're all different) The reason I've actually gave the full 5 stars though, is for the help given and the fact they offered me a full refund if I was still having issues after experimenting with different tips and fitting. Can't argue with that for customer service.
