As a long time calmer user I got excited when I seen the new release for the calmer performance. Although I'd just purchased the calmer 2 prototype and absolutely love them, (so didn't really need to purchase the performance), it was the design that caught my eye and I just had to get myself a pair to try out.
I was actually going to knock a star off at first because I was finding it difficult to get fitment right. But they are extremely light and I have big fingers so my little issue there might not be the same for everyone else, so didn't Think it was right to do this for such a minor and personal issue, also my 5 stars is based off how they perform once inserted correctly.
I live nearly 3 miles away from the M1 motorway and can constantly hear the rolling road noises in the distance and find it distracting. The performance turned that volume down so much I don't even notice it anymore allowing me to focus more on any tasks that require my concentration while allowing me to hear the things I need to in greater detail than the standard calmers do. They really do lower that background noise that I find myself wearing them for most of the day. I'm happy I made this purchase.
