Comfortable Drumming

I've been using the Earshades through my African drumming classes. The noise level gets to over 90 decibels. With the Earshades in I can still hear the instructor but the drumming noise is comfortable. They are great!

I think the name is perfect for what these ear shades do. In my case, to tolerate the noise levels of a loud and vocal building crew next door. They really do take the edge off the desperation I feel at not being able to enjoy my garden, they relax me, they remove the irritation of the noise, they are wonderful.

Technical Specification

Earshade uses an aluminium/titanium stem with heat reactive memory foam to create a perfect seal and a one size fits all solution. Earshade uses metal stems to block sound, rather than absorb it. This results in higher sound quality and attenuation compared to traditional earplugs that absorb or filter noise.

Yes, every pair of Earshade® comes with a set of replaceable memory foam tips in a matching colour. Replacement tips can also be bought separately, giving you the freedom to mix and match your style.
Memory foam tips generally last about 1 month depending on how they are handled, used, and your body chemistry (earwax, oils, etc.). Naturally, frequent use will shorten their lifespan.
To ensure that your tips last as long as possible, we would recommend that you follow our fitting guides and cleaning instructions.
It is important that memory foam tips are regularly inspected for serviceability and are maintained in accordance with our instructions. Be sure to replace your tips when they start to flake, tear, or lose their memory foam properties (e.g. the foam loses its slow rebound time).

Our earplugs are designed specifically to block sound. Therefore there is a possibility that they will affect your ability to hear other sounds such as alarms, people, or warning systems.
Due to Bone Conduction (being able to hear sound through your skull as well as your ears) you will still be able to hear but at a much lower volume. If you are still unsure, it's best to try them out.
