These are absolutely great. A huge upgrade from the original Calmers (which I love). I have a lot more concentration and feel much more relaxed even in busy environments. They decrease the difficulty of working in my office into the manageable level. They are not quite as comfortable as the original Calmers, although I notice them a lot less after wearing during work time for a few days.

Aa someone who is upset by noise, especially sharp spikes and general background noise I was looking for something that would dull those noises but still allow me to hear my wife talking. My therapist mentioned the Calmer Extra but they weren't big enough for my ears and after a chat with the excellent customer service chap I returned them and bought these Performance ones. They are wonderful! I got the memory foam buds and they fit great and stay in with me forgetting they're in. They dull the noise, some noise dissappears but I can still hear the clock ticking and birds cooing. The children next door are not causing as much anxt as they were; car doors are dulled; motorbikes don't induce dread and I'm feeling more relaxed and chilled in general. I love the Performance. They really are a miracle for Autistics. I still resort to sound cancelling at times but these are my go to now.

No moving parts, no batteries to run out, no wires. Highly engineered passive device that takes the edge off sharp loud sounds. Ohh did i mention Not expensive.!
